TideLine Kayak Club | Kayak Group paddle

Join the TideLine Watersports Kayak Club for a free, monthly kayak group paddle that showcases the breathtaking beauty of Newfoundland’s west coast. Running from April through November (weather permitting), this relaxed outing brings together like minded paddlers of all levels for a day of exploration, skill-sharing, and community connection. Whether you’re returning after long winter  looking to improve skills or just enjoy a leisurely paddle with friends, our kayak club group paddles are designed to get you on the water.

Meeting Time & Location:

We kick off each kayak group paddle, where club members and guests meet for a check-in and safety briefing an out the area. Here, you’ll enjoy a friendly atmosphere complete with a brief introduction from everyone and essential paddling tips from experienced club leaders. This pre- paddle event  is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow paddlers and get everyone on the same page for the day’s paddle.

The Paddle

Once on the water, we embark on a flexible kayaking route that changes based on weather and tide conditions, highlighting hidden coves, scenic beaches, and dramatic cliffside views along Newfoundland’s rugged coast and inland waters. Guided by our knowledgeable club leaders, you’ll receive practical advice on paddling techniques while enjoying a leisurely pace that allows for exploration and shared learning. The focus is on the joy of paddling together, creating an environment where every participant can hone their skills while soaking in the environment.

Post-Paddle Social

Depending on our location, we will reconvene at a local café or restaurant for a post kayak group paddle social to unwind and share stories over food or a coffee. This casual debrief not only reinforces our strong sense of community but also provides valuable feedback and inspiration for planning future outings. It’s the perfect end to a day of adventure, fostering connections that extend well beyond the water.
